OUR VALUES
We believe that artists, makers, and the conscientious consumer are powerful agents for social change.
+ More
We believe that participating in the creative economy should be made accessible for artists, makers and designers and reject the elitism and exclusionary practices of the current system.
OUR MISSION
We are building a more equitable and inclusive creative economy, presenting collaborative platforms for participation that overcome financial barriers and advance social justice through dialogue and action.
+ More
We uplift artists, makers and designers who are making things happen by building their brand through social media, creating alternative spaces, and selling independently.
We partner with social justice organizations to promote dialogue, activism, and broaden our reach to strengthen civic engagement.
OUR APPROACH
Through festivals, spotlight projects, monthly newsletter, and collaborations with peer cultural institutions and social justice organizations we amplify the voices of socially engaged artists, makers, and designers.
+ More
We produce pop-up art festivals in the Fall, Spring and Summer that are cultural and social happenings that are experiential, educational and action oriented. Festivals take place over four weeks and are free to the public.
We advance the work of cultural institutions and social justice organizations, partnering on panel discussions and workshops to build community and promote collaboration among colleagues in the field.
We amplify the community voice through our “Town Hall” discussions and “Artists ask the Questions” series presented during festivals and distributed through our newsletters and social media channels.
