Visualizing a more just society.

ONLINE FESTIVAL

A virtual community space for art, wellness, dialogue and civic action!

SPRING ONLINE EDITION: APRIL 15-30

The theme for the spring festival is Art and Wellness: Healthy Planet, Body, and Mind. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are here to support our community and are shifting to an online format from April 15 to 30.

Join us via Instagram Live, Facebook, and Zoom Video Conferencing as we host studio visits with artists and designers, weekend wellness workshops, and panel discussions with leaders in the fields of healthcare, social justice and philanthropy.

Festival Opens Wed., April 15 at 1pm with "Town Hall" Discussion Series:

The "Town Hall" series will be presented through Zoom Video Conferencing. We are honored to open the festival with a conversation between Peter J. Kim, Executive Director of The Museum of Food & Drink, and Festival Director, Nicholas Cohn. They will discuss the dramatic impact of COVID-19 on the cultural sector, restaurant industry, and ways they are responding to help front line workers.

The "Town Hall" series will continue on Wednesday April 22 at 11am with Courtney Miller from Citizen Action discussing the disproportionate percentage of marginalized communities being impacted by this pandemic; and on April 29 at 11am Amanda Suárez of Fountain House Gallery will address mental health and the effects of isolation.

We stand with our community of front line workers fighting this pandemic, and non-profit organizations forced to shut their doors, fearful they will be unable to resume their important work.

Join us on Monday, April 20 & 27 at 11 am for our Instagram Live "Take Action" series. We will host talks on the Accessibility of Personal Protective Equipment for our healthcare and essential workers, and Fundraising Strategies for Non-Profit Organizations. Confirmed for April 27 is Jan Newcomb, Executive Director for the National Coalition for Arts' Preparedness and Emergency Response, who will join Festival Director, Nicholas Cohn to shed light on government and private foundation resources that have been made available to artists and arts organizations in the wake of the crisis.
