Nicholas Cohn
is an independent curator, cultural organizer, and fundraiser for the arts, as well as the founder of Art and Social Activism and the director of the Art and Social Activism Festival. Over the past 15 years, he has worked for arts organizations including the Brooklyn Museum, Art in General, A Blade of Grass, and the arts advocacy organization Americans for the Arts. He was Director of Tyler Rollins Fine Art and William Holman Galleries, where he helped to place the work of emerging and under-recognized artists in prominent private and museum collections. He also worked with Art Miami, LLC on producing art fairs in New York and Miami.
Monika Fabijanska
is a New York-based art historian and independent curator who specializes in women’s art and feminist art. Her groundbreaking exhibition The Un-Heroic Act: Representations of Rape in Contemporary Women’s Art in the U.S. at Shiva Gallery, John Jay College, was named fifth of the 20 best New York City art shows in 2018 by Hyperallergic, and received critical praise from The New York Times, The New Yorker, Art in America, Artforum, The Brooklyn Rail and Art Papers, among others. It was accompanied by a catalog and symposium.
Kevin B. Chen
has been involved in the Bay Area arts community for over two decades as a curator, writer and visual artist. He currently serves as a faculty member at San Francisco State University’s School of Art and at Stanford University’s Department of Art and Art History; a member of Recology’s Artist in Residence Program Advisory Board; and a curatorial committee member at Root Division and Pro Arts Gallery.
Courtney Miller
is a native New Yorker raised in the Bronx, who now serves as Community Organizer with the grassroots organization Citizen Action of New York. She is also known as the Grammy-nominated songwriter and artivist Keris Love.
R. Leopoldina Torres
is President and Director of the Board for the Monotype Guild of New England and co-founder of Banter Artists Collective. She works in the Communications Division of the Harvard Art Museums and is pursuing a graduate degree in Museum Studies at Harvard University.
